A Heroic Nurse Protects Patients Amidst Earthquake
On the morning of April 3rd, a powerful 7.4 magnitude earthquake struck the city of Hua Lian in Taiwan. The intense tremors were felt in many cities, causing severe shaking in buildings and roads. Videos capturing the scenes of these buildings, hospitals, and streets during the earthquake were widely shared on Twitter, gaining significant attention from users.
Recently, one video recorded at a house in the city of Bat Li in northern Taiwan has touched the hearts of many viewers. In the video, an elderly person lay on a bed in a room with an Indonesian nurse also lying on a bed next to them. As the first tremors appeared, the elderly person quickly woke up in fear and noticed something unusual. Instead of rushing outside or calling for help, the nurse decided to stay in the room and tightly embrace the patient on the bed, providing comfort until the shaking stopped.
According to Mr. Vương, the owner of the house and the son of the patient, the entire house was violently shaking during the earthquake, making it difficult for him to reach his mother. To check on her well-being, he turned on the camera inside the room and saw the touching scene of the caregiver embracing his critically ill mother.
Currently, this video is attracting many views on social media platforms in China, with most people expressing their admiration and appreciation for the courageous spirit of the nurse. They also send their wishes and hopes that those affected by the earthquake will overcome this difficult time safely.
