Bắc Ninh Province Reveals 58 Delayed Land Projects
In an effort to promote transparency and accountability, Bắc Ninh province in Vietnam has publicly disclosed 58 projects that have faced delays in putting the land to use. These projects span various sectors including commerce, hospitality, education, and residential development.
Reflecting on the Delayed Projects
The city of Bắc Ninh is home to 17 projects that have been granted land allocation but have yet to commence operations. Notable among these projects are the Mixed-Use Building Complex, featuring a commercial center, office spaces, and rental apartments, developed by the Investment and Construction Corporation for Oil and Gas Infrastructure; and the Commercial and Service Center that also showcases exquisite wooden craftsmanship, by Bảo Hưng Limited Liability Company.

Prominent projects in Bắc Ninh also include the Construction of Service Centers and Human Resource Development by Tân Thành Đô Incolan Corporation; the Construction of the High-Tech Vocational School by the Center for Research and Development of Automation Technology; the Cultural and Sports Service Center by Tân Hoàng Phát Trading and Service Joint Stock Company; and the Premium Residential Area Construction by Long Vân Limited Liability Company.
The Delayed Projects in Từ Sơn City
A total of 14 projects in Từ Sơn city, Bắc Ninh province, have experienced delays in land utilization. These projects consist of a commercial and service center in Đông Ngàn Ward, developed by Hanoi Trading Joint Stock Company; a state-of-the-art hospital in Tân Hồng Ward, established by Hamec High-Tech International Joint Stock Company; the Kinh Bắc University in Phù Chẩn Ward, undertaken by Chân Thiện Mỹ Limited Liability Company; and affordable housing for low-income individuals, initially managed by Sông Hồng Oil and Gas Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company (now Vạn Khởi Thành Joint Stock Company).

Furthermore, several noteworthy projects in Bắc Ninh province include the Science and Training Complex by the Vietnam Institute of Economics; a residential and commercial area in Trang Hạ Ward, funded through the Build-Transfer (BT) contract model, initiated by Long Phương Group Joint Stock Company; a mixed-use commercial and office space with warehousing facilities, managed by Tất Thắng Company (Limited Liability); and many more.
Delayed Projects in Other Areas
In addition to the cities mentioned above, other locations in Bắc Ninh province have also faced delays in land utilization. Thuận Thành town, for instance, has encountered delays in 9 projects, including the Tú Phương Plastic Packaging Factory by a chemical corporation conglomerate; the Research, Application, and Development of Medicinal Plants in Vietnam project by Khai Sơn Joint Stock Company; a clean coal processing plant by TLB Technology Joint Stock Company; and the Gia Đông residential area by Đức Việt Group Joint Stock Company.
Yên Phong district reports 4 delayed projects, while Tiên Du has 6, Gia Bình has 3, Lương Tài has 1, and Quế Võ town has 4.
These delayed projects not only impact economic growth but also hinder the development of the region. Efforts must be made to ensure timely implementation and effective utilization of allocated land resources.
