The South Korean government has begun implementing steps to suspend the licenses of thousands of resident doctors who refuse to return to their positions. To stabilize emergency services, President Yoon Suk Yeol announced that the Cabinet will approve a reserve fund worth 128.5 billion won ($96.3 million).
