Certificate Distribution Ceremony: Celebrating Success and Empowerment at Umeed Foundation Vocational Center
Umeed Foundation, a registered organization dedicated to providing free education to underprivileged and needy children, is proud to announce the successful completion of training for the first batch of young girls at their Vocational Training Center. To honor their achievement, a grand ceremony has been organized at Serena Hotel Islamabad on the 6th of March 2024.
Empowering Young Girls Through Education
Umeed Foundation firmly believes in women empowerment and gender equality. As part of their initiatives, the Vocational Training Center offers free basic stitching training to young girls from deserving families. Upon completing the training, these girls are provided with a free sewing machine, enabling them to work independently and generate income to support their families.
Recognizing Efforts and Celebrating Success
The certificate distribution ceremony at Serena Hotel Islamabad is a momentous occasion for the girls who have successfully completed their training. The event will be graced by Mr. Alfred Grannas as the chief guest, along with donors, members of Umeed Foundation, representatives of the Pak German Business Community, government officers from the NGO registration department, and individuals from other foreign missions.
A Foundation with a Greater Purpose
In addition to the Vocational Training Center, Umeed Foundation undertakes various other initiatives. These include the operation of a Free Higher Secondary School, providing support during flood and earthquake relief efforts, offering assistance in child adoption, and supplying food items during the holy month of Ramazan.
