Reflecting on that magical moment, Deivson recalls entering the store and choosing ticket number 11 from the vending machine. This was his lucky number, and he hoped for another win, but never imagined he would hit the jackpot.
A Life-Changing Prize
After confirming his win, Deivson decided to collect his entire prize at once. After taxes, he took home $650,000 (over 16 billion Vietnamese dong). Holding such a substantial amount of money, the carpenter revealed that winning the lottery brought peace of mind to him and his family, assuring them a more secure future.
The lottery company’s management also added that Deivson was the 11th lucky person to win a $1 million jackpot. In recognition of the extraordinary win, the store where Deivson purchased his ticket received a $10,000 bonus (around 247 million Vietnamese dong) for selling the winning ticket.

Lottery scratch-off tickets have brought luck to many people, and Deivson is not the only fortunate one. Altovise Morris, a 42-year-old resident of Florida, USA, experienced consecutive wins. After her first $1 million win, Altovise informed the lottery company that she might return to claim another prize. To her surprise, it became a reality.
According to the Florida lottery company, Altovise Morris won two prizes worth $1 million just months apart. Her first win came after purchasing a $50 scratch-off ticket for the game “500X The Cash” at a convenience store in Winter Garden City in November 2022. In January 2023, she returned to the lottery company with another winning ticket worth $1 million.
Morris mentioned that after using her first prize money to secure a new home, she decided to test her luck once more by purchasing another $50 scratch-off ticket at a nearby Sunoco Foodmart convenience store. And once again, luck was on her side as she struck it rich.
