The Khu Cong Vien Van Hoa – Vui Choi Giai Tri, The Thao Ha Dong Park project was approved for planning by the former Ha Tay Provincial People’s Committee in 1998, covering an area of around 98 hectares. However, after years of delay, the project has been left in a state of neglect.

The project was planned to be implemented in Ha Cau and Kien Hung wards of Ha Dong district. The total area of the detailed planning study land is approximately 950,128m2. The approved plan includes an area of 23,088m2 for transportation outside the park, 1,687m2 for historical sites, 734m2 for existing cultural facilities, and 924,619m2 for the planned construction of the park.

The Need for Action

Previously, several organizations had rented spaces within the project area for restaurants and service areas. However, after public outcry, the Ha Dong district authorities required these entities to relocate.

Currently, the project area is cluttered with construction materials from the previous tenants. It is crucial to address this issue as it is hindering progress.
