A Shocking Revelation

After the family’s trip, the parents shared the photo of the rock formation on Twitter. Unexpectedly, an expert revealed that this “rock” was, in fact, a World War II bomb capable of costing thousands of lives.

Prompted by the revelation, authorities contacted the family, urgently requesting the location of the bomb. After verifying the information, the bomb was safely disposed of under the supervision of the Pembrook County Park authorities.

Lurking Dangers Beneath

It is estimated that around 13,000 bombs of this type were dropped during World War II. As of now, many of these deadly explosives remain buried, posing a constant threat to the lives of civilians.
