Electronic Invoicing in Gas Stations
Regarding the implementation of electronic invoicing in domestic gas stations, Deputy Director of the General Department of Taxation, Dang Ngoc Minh, stated that as of April 2nd, a total of 15,931 out of 15,935 gas stations nationwide have successfully issued sales invoices to customers. Only 4 gas stations in remote areas have yet to implement this system. According to the plan, installation will be completed in the coming week, effectively reaching 100% compliance with the government’s directive regarding the issuance of retail fuel sales invoices.
In the upcoming period, the General Department of Taxation will continue to coordinate with the Department of Industry and Trade, as well as local authorities, to monitor the invoicing activities of gas stations.
