Gasoline and Oil Prices Experience Sharp Decline

The Ministry of Finance and Trade has announced a significant adjustment in domestic gasoline and oil prices. During the current price adjustment period, both gasoline and oil have experienced a slight decrease.

Specifically, the price of E5RON92 gasoline has decreased by 240 VND/liter, RON95-III gasoline has decreased by 372 VND/liter, diesel 0.05S has decreased by 302 VND/liter, and kerosene has decreased by 176 VND/liter. The only exception is madzut 180CST 3.5S, which has increased by 174 VND/kg.

After the adjustment, the domestic gasoline and oil prices, effective from 3:00 p.m. on March 7th, are as follows:

  • E5RON92 gasoline: not exceeding 22,512 VND/liter
  • RON95-III gasoline: not exceeding 23,557 VND/liter
  • Diesel 0.05S: not exceeding 20,471 VND/liter
  • Kerosene: not exceeding 20,609 VND/liter
  • Madzut 180CST 3.5S: not exceeding 16,133 VND/kg

During this price adjustment period, the operator has allocated funds to the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund (PPSF) for madzut at a rate of 300 VND/kg. However, no funds have been allocated from the PPSF for E5RON92 gasoline, RON95 gasoline, diesel, and kerosene. Additionally, the PPSF will not be used for E5RON92 gasoline, RON95 gasoline, diesel, kerosene, and madzut.
