Hiện trạng các công viên chậm tiến độ ở Hà Nội

Hà Nội, the capital city of Vietnam, has set a goal to renovate 45 parks and gardens and build 9 new parks by 2025. However, the progress of these projects has been slow, according to a report by the Hanoi Construction Department.

Challenges in Implementing Projects

The report reveals that the city has invested in renovating 4 parks, namely Bach Thao, Thu Le, Thong Nhat, and Hoa Binh, and the districts have invested in renovating 41 parks and gardens using their own budget. Despite the approval and funding, the projects have not been completed on time.

Delays in Renovation and Construction

Several major parks, including Thu Le, Thong Nhat, Bach Thao, and Hoa Binh, have been delayed due to changes in management responsibilities from the city to the districts. However, some progress has been made, with 14 gardens being completed and put into use by the end of March.

Examples of Park Renovation

  1. Bach Thao Park: The city has approved a renovation plan for this park with a budget of 900 billion VND.
  2. Hoa Binh Park: The renovation of this park has reached 80% completion, with a focus on the construction of a lake and walking paths.
  3. Long Bien Park: This park in Long Bien district has recently been renovated and is now open to the public.
  4. Phung Khoang Park: Despite the completion of 80% of the lake and some walking paths, this park is currently abandoned and filled with waste.

Challenges in Land Clearance

Some parks, such as Chu Van An Memorial Park and Ha Dong Cultural, Entertainment, and Sports Park, have faced difficulties in land clearance, delaying their progress.

Future Plans

The city has plans to build 9 new parks, but only 3 of them, namely CV1, Bac Nam Mai Dich, and Astronomy Park, have been completed and are in the process of final touches before being officially handed over. The remaining parks are still under construction and facing delays.

Despite the challenges and delays, the city of Hanoi remains committed to improving and expanding its parks and green spaces for the benefit of its residents and visitors.
