Authorized Honda dealers in Hanoi are offering attractive prices for the Honda Vision. The Standard version is priced at 31.8 million VND, the Premium version at 33 million VND, the Special version at 35 million VND, and the Sports version at 37 million VND. Compared to last month, the prices of Honda Vision have dropped by 200,000 to 1 million VND, and compared to the same period last year, the prices have dropped by 2.5 to 3.5 million VND.
Similar discounts are also being offered for Honda Air Blade. The Standard version of Air Blade 160 ABS is now priced at 56 million VND, 690,000 VND lower than the suggested price. The Special version of Air Blade 125 CBS is priced at 41.5 million VND, 1.69 million VND lower, and the Standard version of Air Blade 125 CBS is priced at 40.5 million VND.
Honda SH 125i and SH 160i are also available with attractive incentives. The Sports version of Honda SH 125i is priced at only 85.5 million VND, 500,000 VND lower than last month. Honda LEAD is also being offered below the suggested price. The Standard version is currently priced at 38 million VND, while the Premium and Special versions are priced at 41 million and 42 million VND, respectively, which is 700,000 to 1.5 million VND lower than the suggested price.
With an abundance of supply and reduced purchasing power, the motorcycle market is currently experiencing a downward trend in prices to stimulate consumer demand. This presents a great opportunity for consumers to purchase suitable models.

Not only in the motorcycle market, but the automotive market in Vietnam is also witnessing fierce competition. Brands are implementing price reductions to attract customers and maintain sales.
Starting from March 1, 2024, Toyota Vietnam has adjusted the prices of two models that have been driving sales for the brand, the Vios and Veloz Cross. With extremely attractive price reductions, the Vios is leading the way with a decrease of up to 47 million VND. The highest-end version of Vios now has a suggested retail price of only 545 million VND, significantly lower than its competing models like the Honda City (609 million VND) and on par with one of the best-selling models, the Hyundai Accent (542 million VND). Even the Standard version of Vios has become incredibly attractive with a price of only 458 million VND.
The Veloz Cross is not far behind, with a price reduction of up to 38 million VND. The starting price of this model is now from 638 million VND.
Hyundai Accent VIN 2023 is being offered with discounts of up to 45 million VND or 100% registration fee exemption for customers at some dealerships. The selling price of the Standard version of Hyundai Accent VIN 2023 is now lower than other A-segment models like the Kia Morning and Toyota Wigo.
Another discounted model is the Hyundai Grand i10. Some dealerships are offering discounts of 20-30 million VND for customers purchasing various versions of this model.
Honda Vietnam has also announced an attractive promotion to provide customers with more opportunities to experience their models. From March 05 to March 31, 2024, Honda will implement the promotion.
Honda is offering attractive incentives for its key production models of 2023 (VIN2023), including the Honda CR-V L/G and Honda City. The two L/G versions are being offered with 100% registration fee exemption and an additional cashback of 30 million VND, resulting in a total discount of nearly 90 million VND.
The Honda City RS is being offered with a 50% registration fee exemption, equivalent to more than 30 million VND. This will be the last opportunity to receive special support for limited quantities of the 2023 production models.
Nissan is also offering special incentives in February 2024. Customers purchasing Nissan Almera, Navara, and Kicks will enjoy a 100% registration fee exemption and receive a gift of SJC gold.
Despite the attractive offers from various brands, the automotive market is still sluggish. According to a report from the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (VAMA), the total vehicle sales in the market reached 19,243 units in January 2024. The passenger car segment accounted for 14,745 units, a 54% decrease compared to the previous month; the commercial vehicle segment accounted for 4,390 units, a 31.5% decrease; and the special-purpose vehicle segment accounted for 108 units, a 46% decrease.
The sharp decline in automotive sales in the first month of 2024 is attributed to low consumer demand due to the challenging economic conditions.
