Hundreds of land plots near Beltway 4 (Mê Linh, Hanoi) up for auction

In an effort to promote economic development and social progress, the Land Development Center of Mê Linh district (Hanoi) is partnering with the Vietnam Auction Joint Stock Company to auction off the rights to use 19 land plots located in Chu Tran village, Tien Thinh commune, Mê Linh district, Hanoi. The auction will take place from February 27th to March 13th, with the bidding session scheduled for March 16th.

Land plots ready for auction

The land plots available for auction range in size from 90.7 square meters to 101.1 square meters, with starting prices ranging from 23.2 million VND per square meter to 30 million VND per square meter. These plots are strategically located near Provincial Road 308 and are in close proximity to the Tien Thinh commune People’s Committee and Tien Thinh High School. Additionally, the area benefits from a well-developed transportation system and modern infrastructure, including lighting, clean water, underground cables, drainage systems, greenery, and internal roads.

Convenient location for economic development

What sets these auctioned land plots apart is their proximity to Beltway 4 and Mê Linh Road, which are approximately 1 kilometer away. This prime location offers great convenience for economic development and business services. The funds raised from the auction will be allocated to the development of infrastructure and socio-economic projects, with the aim of elevating Mê Linh district to a municipal level by 2025 and to a city directly under the capital by 2030.

Successful past auctions

This is not the first auction held in the area. In December 2023 and the end of January 2024, Mê Linh district successfully auctioned off 93 land plots in Chu Tran village, Tien Thinh commune, generating over 280 billion VND for the local budget. The auction followed a closed-ballot voting system, with each plot auctioned off in a single round. The land plots ranged in size from 83.7 square meters to 297.1 square meters, with starting prices ranging from 20.4 million VND per square meter to 31.9 million VND per square meter. The highest bidding price reached 56.1 million VND per square meter, while the lowest was 20.6 million VND per square meter.
