Huyen Thanh Oai District Urged to Address Land Violations
The Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee, Dương Đức Tuấn, has called for the resolution of land violation issues in Thanh Oai district. This request was made during a working session held on March 15.
Positive Economic and Social Results
According to a report, Thanh Oai district achieved significant positive results in its economic and social development by 2023. Specifically, the total value of production in the area reached 28,507 billion Vietnamese dong, surpassing the planned target by 103.2%. The average income per person per year was 72.155 million Vietnamese dong. Additionally, the total state budget revenue in the district exceeded 1,722 billion Vietnamese dong, which was equivalent to 105% of the city’s estimate.

Adjustments to the Capital City’s Master Plan
During the working session, Thanh Oai district proposed adjustments and additions to the content, nature, and function of Thanh Oai as part of the overall master plan for Hanoi up to 2045, with a vision towards 2065.
The Chairman of Thanh Oai District People’s Committee, Bùi Văn Sáng, emphasized that the district’s master plan was based on the overall plan for Hanoi and approved land use plans. The industrial and eco-urban planning were connected with other districts and areas.

Chairman Bùi Văn Sáng expressed his hope that the completion of the Belt Road 4 – Capital Region project will enhance trade between Thanh Oai district and other localities.
Recommendations for Future Development
In conclusion, Vice Chairman Dương Đức Tuấn proposed that in 2024, Thanh Oai district should strengthen land use rights auctions to attract investment. Additionally, the district should focus on reviewing and supplementing the master plan to align with the overall plan for Hanoi, utilizing the district’s geographical and natural resources.
Vice Chairman Dương Đức Tuấn also urged Thanh Oai district to expedite the progress of land allocation for resettlement in the Belt Road 4 – Capital Region project. Furthermore, he emphasized the need to resolve past instances of land violations in the district.
