Hyundai to Introduce Baby Mode on Palisade SUV

In December 2023, Hyundai announced an update to its flagship SUV, the Tucson. However, many interesting features, including specifications, were not revealed at that time.

Now in March, the facelifted Hyundai Tucson has officially debuted in North America. The local media quickly discovered an exciting addition that Hyundai has made to the new Tucson – Baby Mode.

As the name suggests, the new driving mode on the Hyundai Tucson is designed to serve the young occupants of the vehicle, specifically babies who are asleep.

To ensure a peaceful sleep for the little passengers, the Baby Mode automatically smooths out the driver’s steering inputs. The system ensures there are no sudden braking or acceleration events that could wake the sleeping child.

Even parents sitting in the rear seats and wanting to recline or simply experience a comfortable ride can request the driver to activate this mode.

To activate Baby Mode, users can select the My Drive mode – a customizable driving mode alongside pre-set options such as Eco, Sport, or Snow. One of the available customization options under My Drive is Baby Mode.

According to Hyundai North America, the South Korean automaker will soon expand Baby Mode to other vehicle models to optimize the user experience. One example mentioned is the flagship SUV, Palisade.
