Lexus NX 2025: Light Upgrades with a Significant Price Increase
Lexus has introduced some minor changes to the NX 2025 model. One notable change is the addition of the new Copper Crest paint finish. In addition, this model now comes with standard features including rain-sensing wipers, power-adjustable liftgate, and intuitive parking assist with automatic braking. The Luxury trim has been updated with new Macadamia interior upholstery.
Enhanced Features and Technology
The upgrades include the addition of two USB Type-C ports on the front center console. Furthermore, wireless smartphone charging is now available on all versions of the NX.
The entry-level NX comes with unique features such as NuLuxe upholstery, heated front seats, and leather-wrapped steering wheel. Buyers will also find a 9.8-inch infotainment system, a 10-speaker audio system, and 18-inch wheels.
The crossover is equipped with the Lexus Safety System+ 3.0, which includes features like all-speed radar cruise control, lane tracing assist, and pre-collision system with pedestrian detection. It also has sign recognition, lane departure alert with steering assist, and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert.
Diverse Powertrain Options
There are four different powertrains available, including a 203-horsepower 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with 249 Nm of torque. Customers can also opt for a 2.4-liter turbocharged engine with 275 horsepower and 429 Nm of torque.
Meanwhile, the NX 350h features a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, a hybrid system, and an electric motor located at the rear. This setup provides the crossover with 240 horsepower and a combined fuel efficiency of 6 liters/100 km.
Lastly, the plug-in hybrid NX 450h+ has a larger lithium-ion battery pack and an upgraded powertrain system. These changes result in a power output of 304 horsepower and an electric-only range of 60 km.
Pricing Information
The starting price for the NX 250 is $41,765, which is an increase of $1,160 compared to the previous model. The NX 350 and NX 350h see similar price increases, while the NX 450h+ starts at $62,290, rising by $2,385.
