Nga arrests suspects in attack near Moscow

After a recent attack near Moscow, Russian police have apprehended several suspects involved in the incident. According to sources, the police noticed a suspicious Renault car that failed to stop upon command. After a chase, the police fired shots, causing the vehicle to overturn. One suspect was arrested on the spot, while the others fled into the nearby forest. The second suspect was subsequently found and apprehended at around 3:50 a.m. local time. Inside the car, the police discovered a rifle and ammunition for a sniper rifle.

Earlier, Russian news agency Interfax reported that the country’s security agency had informed President Vladimir Putin that 11 people had been detained in relation to the attack, including 4 directly involved.

Armed individuals wearing camouflage attacked concert-goers near Moscow, killing at least 60 people and injuring 145 others. Although a self-proclaimed Islamic extremist group has claimed responsibility for the bloody attack, Russian authorities have yet to confirm this information.
