Nissan to Launch 30 New Models, Including Next-Gen X-Trail and Other Exciting Cars
Nissan recently announced plans to introduce 30 new global models between now and 2027, including 16 electric vehicles. This information was confirmed by CEO Makoto Uchida during a presentation on the company’s new three-year strategy.
A Fresh Lineup and Cost Reduction Goals
Upon completing this strategy, Nissan aims to refresh 60% of its global vehicle lineup. Simultaneously, the company plans to reduce electric vehicle production costs by 30% to achieve price parity with gasoline-powered cars by 2030. Furthermore, Nissan is targeting annual global sales of one million vehicles starting from 2026.

Nissan has also shared a video that provides a glimpse of its upcoming models for the years 2024 to 2026. Although the cars are partially obscured, some can still be identified. The lineup is expected to feature an SUV that will replace the Nissan Leaf electric vehicle, a potential all-electric Juke, and the newly-introduced Kicks.
The video showcases a variety of SUVs, minivans, and even a pickup truck (likely the Navara), along with a few sports cars. Among them, the new generation Patrol is set to make its debut, with Nissan aiming to position it as a luxury SUV comparable to the Range Rover.
