“Rewarding My Success”: Chi Pu’s New VinFast VF 9
An Exclusive Vehicle for Chi Pu
Vietnamese actress and singer Chi Pu recently shared an image of herself receiving a VinFast VF 9, which has attracted a lot of attention from fans. Chi Pu, born in 1993, rarely purchases new cars and rarely posts pictures of them, so the VF 9 that she owns is one of the few cars her fans are aware of. However, whether she leased or purchased the vehicle remains unknown.
It is known that Chi Pu’s VinFast VF 9 is the highest-end “chairman” version with 6 seats. The current price for the VF 9 Plus starts at 1.685 billion VND (for lease) or 2.178 billion VND (for purchase). This price includes the ADAS and Smart Services package, but does not include the Captain’s Seat option.
Chi Pu shared her thoughts on her newly acquired car: “I hope to accompany ‘her’ in achieving new milestones for a bright 2024.”
At present, customers purchasing a VinFast VF 9 are exempt from the registration fee because electric cars are currently 100% exempt. Therefore, Chi Pu only had to pay an additional 30 million VND for the license plate and other related expenses to drive her VinFast VF 9.
Noteworthy Features of the VinFast VF 9
The VinFast VF 9 is the largest model in the VinFast lineup, with dimensions of 5,120 x 2,000 x 1,721 mm (length x width x height). The car features modern LED Matrix headlights, power-operated doors, and front and rear positioning LED strips.
The interior of this E-segment SUV is simple yet modern, with a 15.6-inch entertainment screen that incorporates information control, multimedia entertainment, and virtual assistant features.
Dubbed as the “chairman’s car,” the VinFast VF 9 is equipped with top-notch safety features such as 11 airbags, a rear-seat occupant detection system, city/urban automatic emergency braking (AEB), emergency braking with pedestrian detection, forward collision warning (FCW), lane departure warning (LDW), and lane-keeping assist (LKA). In addition, the car is equipped with ADAS level 2 advanced driving assistance features, such as highway assist and congestion assist.
Under the hood, the car is powered by an electric motor that delivers a maximum output of 402 horsepower and a peak torque of 640 Nm, with all-wheel drive for optimal traction. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.5 seconds. The VF 9 has two battery versions: the standard version with a range of 485 km and the extended version with a range of 680 km per full charge.
