Sau Siêu thứ Ba, gần như chắc chắn sẽ có trận tái đấu giữa ông Trump và Biden

The race for the 2024 presidential election is heating up, with several states in the US holding primary elections or closed-door meetings on March 5, marking the largest day of nomination races so far. As the campaign intensifies, it is becoming increasingly likely that there will be a rematch between former President Trump and President Biden.

Trump’s Dominance

Former President Trump continues to lead the race for the Republican nomination, only losing in one state, Vermont, to Nikki Haley. Although Trump did not secure enough delegates from the 15 states that voted on March 5 to win the party’s nomination for the upcoming presidential election, he made significant progress and demonstrated that the door for Haley is closing.

With the latest estimates from CNN, Trump secured 617 delegates on Super Tuesday compared to Haley’s 23. Overall, Trump has a total of 893 delegates, close to the 1,215 delegates needed to win the Republican nomination. In contrast, Haley only has 66 delegates.

Biden’s Dominance

On Super Tuesday, President Biden also emerged victorious, as he has in previous primary elections, often winning around 80% of the votes. This is a milestone that Trump rarely achieved. Naturally, Haley poses a more formidable challenge compared to Biden’s competitors, such as Marianne Williamson or Senator Dean Phillips.

The only setback for President Biden occurred in Samoa, a small territory of the United States in the South Pacific. He lost to relatively unknown candidate Jason Palmer in that region.

The Rematch

According to CNN, based on the current situation, the United States is likely to witness a rematch between President Biden and former President Trump. As the results of Super Tuesday become clear, both Trump and Biden are shifting their focus towards each other.
