Sẽ cưỡng chế để giao mặt bằng làm đường cao tốc Khánh Hòa

The construction of the Khánh Hòa – Buôn Ma Thuột highway is facing delays due to some households not handing over their land for the project. As of now, there are still more than 20 households in the Krông Bông district of Đắk Lắk province who have not completed the land transfer.

Delays in Land Handover

On March 19, the Krông Bông district authorities developed a plan to forcibly recover land from households and individuals who have not complied with the decision to hand over their land for the Khánh Hòa – Buôn Ma Thuột highway project. Currently, there are a total of 59 households and individuals in the Cư Drăm commune who have not handed over their land, with 13 of them having houses on the land. The land in question is part of the forest land occupied by a forestry company.

Efforts to Resolve the Issue

According to Lê Văn Long, Chairman of the Krông Bông district authorities, many households have already received compensation and support, and have handed over their land after continuous persuasion and communication. However, there are still 22 households who have not complied. Despite multiple notifications and at least three attempts at compensation and support, these households have not complied with the decision to recover the land and hand it over.

In the coming days, government agencies will continue to explain and persuade the residents. If the households still refuse to comply by the end of the week, forcible measures will be taken. The principle is to enforce land acquisition and ensure the progress of the project as well as the post-recovery protection work. The enforcement will adhere to the legal regulations concerning land recovery, compensation, support, and resettlement for affected residents, emphasized Chairman Lê Văn Long.

Challenges in the Project

The Khánh Hòa – Buôn Ma Thuột highway project is being expedited, but there are still significant challenges in the province of Đắk Lắk regarding land clearance issues related to forest areas and infrastructure. Additionally, the agreement on some material mines and dumping grounds has not been reached among the parties involved.

It is crucial to resolve these issues promptly to ensure the smooth progress of the project and the welfare of the affected residents.
