Tổng thống Biden và ông Trump Clash in the “Battlefield” of Georgia
The battle for Georgia is heating up as President Biden and former President Trump go head-to-head in their campaign efforts. While President Biden won Georgia by a slim margin in the 2020 election, recent polls show that former President Trump is leading in this state. Political analysts suggest that both candidates will continue to vigorously campaign in Georgia leading up to the general election in November.
“This shows that Georgia is a swing state,” says political analyst Phil Kent. “I think Trump will emphasize the terrific accomplishments he achieved during his presidency. Even if you don’t like Trump, you have to admit that the American economy was booming. Under Trump, we achieved energy independence, while prices for goods and mortgages decreased.”
President Biden’s campaign in Georgia comes just two days after he delivered his State of the Union address. According to Democratic strategist Tharon Johnson, President Biden is likely to highlight the major accomplishments he has achieved.
“What you heard in the State of the Union address is what you will hear when he comes to Georgia. President Biden will talk about how he is developing the economy, providing healthcare services, and improving education and literacy. These are important issues that I believe Georgia voters want to hear from the president,” Johnson commented.
President Biden is “picking up the pace” with his campaign by visiting key battleground states like Pennsylvania, Georgia, New Hampshire, Wisconsin, and Michigan. Vice President Kamala Harris will also be making appearances in Arizona and Nevada.
According to Reuters, President Biden’s campaign will spend $30 million on advertising over the next six weeks, surpassing the amount spent in the entire year of 2023.
As the battle for Georgia intensifies, both candidates are leaving no stone unturned in their efforts to win over voters and secure victory in this crucial swing state. Stay tuned for updates on the campaign trail!
