Vietnam’s First Super Cars Revealed as Participants in Gumball 3000 Journey
The official Gumball 3000 Facebook page surprised its followers on March 27 by unveiling images of super cars in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC). This can be seen as confirmation of the first two participants for the Gumball 3000 trip in 2024.
Vietnamese Super Cars Embark on Gumball 3000 Journey
From the images posted, it is evident that both super cars bear license plates from HCMC. These imported Ferrari models include the 296 GTB and SF90 Spider.
The Ferrari SF90 Spider is owned by entrepreneur Nguyen Quoc Cuong, known to many as “Cuong Dollar.” On his personal page, he shared a photo of himself with Maximillion Cooper, the founder of Gumball 3000, confirming his status as the first Vietnamese participant.

According to previous reports, the cost to participate in this journey is estimated to be around 80,000 British pounds, equivalent to 2.5 billion Vietnamese dong per car. For newcomers, the organizers have set a limit of 50 spots. Additionally, participants must provide evidence of their involvement in activities related to cars, racing, and sports cars.
Gumball 3000, established in 1999, is a super car journey that spans several days and countries. It combines art, cars, music, and film, creating a brand associated with luxury living.
The Gumball 3000 Route: From Ho Chi Minh City to Singapore
The journey will start in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and pass through Phnom Penh and Angkor Wat in Cambodia, Bangkok and Krabi in Thailand, and Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia before concluding in Singapore. The grand finale of the journey will be a speed party at the Singapore F1 race on September 22.
