VKS Proposes Sentences for Truong My Lan and 85 Defendants in the Van Thinh Phat Case
The Prosecutor of the Supreme People’s Procuracy of Ho Chi Minh City has proposed a sentence of 20 years in prison for Truong My Lan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Van Thinh Phat Corporation. Lan has been charged with bribery, violating banking regulations, and embezzlement. The total cumulative sentence proposed is death by execution.
