Recently, a photo of a Ford Everest covered in mud with a blurry license plate went viral and sparked laughter among social media users. The image was shared by a member of a car and traffic-focused group on social media and has received over 1.5 thousand interactions, including more than 800 “Haha” reactions. The post also attracted nearly 200 comments, mostly positive and humorous in response to the photo.
What caught everyone’s attention in the photo was the handwritten message on the back of the car. It is speculated that when the driver noticed the muddy plate, they wiped it off and took the opportunity to write a funny joke, claiming that the numbers on the license plate were the winning numbers of a special lottery in the northern region.
The photo was posted on March 2nd. Many commentators actually checked the results of the special lottery draw in the northern region on that day and were surprised to find the numbers… “Oh my god.”
The winning numbers of that day were 77433, with the first digit (7) and the last digit (3) matching the last two digits on this person’s license plate. Of course, the handwritten message was just a joke, but the fact that there was a matching number in the lottery result brought joy to many netizens.
In reality, there are two notable aspects of the driver’s actions in the photo.
Firstly, it is advisable to avoid writing or sticking any kind of text on the back of the car, as it may distract other drivers on the road and increase the risk of accidents.
Secondly, it is encouraged to clean the license plate. In rainy days or when passing through muddy areas, the aerodynamic design may cause mud to be thrown up and stick to the back of the car, covering the license plate.
According to current regulations, drivers of cars with obscured license plates may be fined from 4 million to 6 million VND. Therefore, if a driver discovers their license plate is dirty or covered, they should clean it to avoid being penalized.
