On April 4th, the Office of the People’s Committee of Quang Nam Province announced that they had sent an official document to the provincial Inspectorate regarding the implementation of the conclusions of the Provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board regarding citizen reception in March.

Accordingly, an immediate inspection was requested to clarify the difficulties, responsibilities, and obligations of the developer, Minh Hoang Long Construction Joint Stock Company, and other parties involved in the project to expand Residential Area No.1 in Dien An Ward, Dien Ban Town.

The inspection aims to identify any violations or wrongdoings, if any, and other legal issues related to the delayed completion of the project in order to timely rectify and handle them according to legal regulations.

In addition, the Chairman of the People’s Committee of Quang Nam Province, Le Tri Thanh, also ordered a review of all cases where residents or groups of people have raised concerns and reported cases of intentional delays and failure to complete commercial housing projects, which have had an impact on the political and social security situation. This is to plan for surprise inspections and checks.

If there are any difficulties or violations found, the developer is required to complete the project in accordance with the provisions of the law.

A report proposing measures for handling the situation will be compiled and submitted to the Party Committee’s Executive Board of the Provincial People’s Committee before May 31st for monitoring and guidance.

It is known that the project to expand Residential Area No.1 in Dien An Ward is undertaken by Minh Hoang Long Construction Joint Stock Company and consists of over 300 divided land lots.

The Provincial People’s Committee of Quang Nam handed over the land for phase 1 of the project, which covers an area of 6.18 hectares, and the Construction Department issued a construction permit on June 25th, 2019. According to the plan, the developer was supposed to hand over land use rights certificates to over 300 customers by December 31st, 2019. However, over the years, the residents who invested in land in the project have not received their red books and have continuously sought help from the authorities.
